Welcome to the September 20th, 2009 Update, Jorge now his work represented in the Ralli Museums in Punta Del Este Uruguay and Santiago , Chile along with other well known Latin American Artist. He is  pre paring for several new exhibitions and getting back to working normally. He still welcomes private commissions. The last few months have been difficult for Jorge as an injury to his hand slowed down his ability to work. He is back to normal now and working on a private commission as well as other projects. Several works have been added to the catalog.

Jorge Korea born in Nicaragua and now residing and creating his unique and explosive masterpieces in Costa Rica. Born in 1950 he has both formal training as well as working with local very successful artist to refine his style which has evolved over the years. His artwork is in many private and public collections and he has had exhibitions in many countries. He is well know for his rigorous treatment of color as well as the use of horses and "phantoms" that make his work alive.  His surreal horses appear in motion due to his style and his wonderful blends of color and design.

In the evolution of his career, Jorge has evolved his styles as well as produced, landscapes, abstraction, nudes, and currently working actively with the designs demonstrated on this website.  He has a special way of combining the evolution of man and horse as well as spiritual transformations.
